Data Retention
What it does
Configurable data retention policies controlling how long POTAL stores your API logs, calculation results, and classification history. Default retention is 90 days. Enterprise customers can customize retention periods to meet compliance requirements.
How to use it
View current policy
Check your data retention settings in Dashboard > Settings > Data Retention.
Customize retention
Enterprise customers can set retention periods per data type: API logs, results, audit logs.
Export before expiry
Schedule recurring exports to preserve data beyond the retention period.
Request deletion
Submit a data deletion request to remove all stored data immediately (GDPR right to erasure).
